Extruding aluminum has been compared to squeezing toothpaste from a tube, with the stream of toothpaste duplicating the tube opening. Aluminum extrusions available from Pro-Fab accommodate very precise standards, meeting the tightest tolerances. Choose from bars, simple shapes, or even intricate designs. Specify long or short runs, with circle sizes up to 23 inches. Pro-Fab has a wider range of available weights, from .040 lb/ft to 27 lb/ft. And we can deliver extrusions that use these aluminum alloys: 6063, 6463, 6061, 6005 and 6105.
Extrusions are available in a variety of finishes including:
• Standard etch and anodize
• Mechanical brush
• Bright dip and anodize
• 2-step or electrolytic depositon
• Powder or wet painting
• Integral color shades
